Disabled Child Hermione Sutton Gets Special
Invitation to Royal Wedding
All of Britain is abuzz with talk of the royal
wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, but unless
you're a celebrity or a fellow royal, your chances of getting
an invitation are about as rare as Ricky Gervais' odds of
getting asked back to host the Golden Globes. However, Hermione
Sutton, a six-year-old girl from Epson who's long been obsessed
with princesses, is one of the lucky few commoners who's scored
a ticket to the big event.
Hermione suffers from a genetic disorder called Prader-Willi
Syndrome, which causes intellectual disabilities and makes it
difficult for her to walk or stand for long periods of time. Her
mother Helen discovered that the royal family had reserved
special seats for guests with disabilities, and decided to apply
for the tickets.
